Hey IMSB team, I wanted to share some feedback about the recent change in gym hours. Moving the opening time from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM has made it difficult for working individuals to use the facility. Many of us rely on early morning workouts before starting our workday, and 8 AM feels too late. It would be really helpful if you could consider shifting the opening time back to 6:00 or 6:30 AM. Morning access makes a big difference for those with tight schedules. Thanks for considering this!

Depends on the time of day tbh. Sometimes too busy to get a single machine and not worth your time at all. When it’s not too busy there are great workout options.

Overall solid gym. The problem is it’s short on space. The staff do their best to fit equipment in the most efficient way possible but they’re fighting a losing battle. Lots of the equipment is outdated and β€œunder repair”. It’s a great place for pickup basketball and other IM sports but compared to newer collegiate gyms it leaves a lot to be desired.

The Intramural Sports Building is a really nice facility with top of the line equipment and great fitness classes. The gym is very clean and everyone is respectful. The basketball courts are in great condition. The summer is generally the best time to use the facility because most of the students are away. The start of each semester brings a massive surge of people and makes it difficult to get in a decent workout without battling for equipment - even the fitness classes get overcrowded.

Renovation is beautiful. Staff are always very nice. If you're looking for some good pickup basketball competition on campus, this is the place. Four beautiful basketball courts make it so you'll never have to wait long to get in some action. Training room is also very nice with everything you need for a good workout. I would definitely recommend going here to keep in shape. I lived in Alice Lloyd on the hill but still found my way to the IM building quite often.
